Membership
Membership in the Confidential Employee Association (CEA) allows employees to have a say in what gets included in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. There are additional benefits and resources available to members that are not available to other employees including scholarships and access to a Legal Trust.
FormsTo become a member of the Union please fill out the below form and you can either submit it directly to any active executive board member, or via email to: membership@apea-aft.org.

Union DuesAs part of membership into CEA employees pay dues. The Membership form authorizes the form to automatically be deducted from your paycheck. Please ask if you have questions about how much will be deducted.

Health InsuranceEmployees represented by the CEA get their Health Insurance through the state run health insurance AlaskaCare. More information about AlaskaCare can be found on the DRB website.
